Love the colors and the looks of the new Elite, but was hoping for maybe a Steam Powered Motorcycle.
Totally agree. With the great response and sales of the Elite, I'm willing to bet Indian will keep making these. My guess is they will come out with different colors with each specific color having a 350 run production.
Finally Saw One Up Close at the Dealer Yesterday and the paint is Definitely High Quality Beauty but at 35K OTD out of my budget ..
I head tell some of the HD CVO's were 40K +/-
I don't doubt that a Bit and No Question the Elite is Par or maybe Above Par on the Paint but the HD CVO Comes with a 117" M8 Stage 2 Fully Cammed Engine as well .. Not taking up for Harley I don't want another New One, but Just Stating Facts ..
Finally got the VIN on my bike. The last 4 are 1308. It will be ready by the end of the week. I guess they take out the windshield when they replace the handlebars and put in the heated grips? There was talk about a different windshield due to a tall torso?
I have a Victory X-C and have worked on it. Larger flip windscreen, deflectors etc. I haven't messed with an Indian and decided to finance the stuff I usually pay out of pocket. So bars, stage 2 (cams, exhaust and air box), grips, luggage, windshield, exhaust tips, backrest, passenger backrest with luggage rack(quick release), custom breather lid and highway pegs.
That's some spendy dealer work, but I know you will love it - post picture when possible
Bought this beauty on April 5th, my 51st birthday. Still in a crate, the owner of the dealership was going to unveil it on April 8th to the public.
Sorry San Antonio public. Last four of VIN are 0023.
Congrats and Happy Birthday. Beautiful bike.
My sentiments also. Plus I prefer the Skirted Fender in the front.
Guys, thank you for the belated happy birthday wish. And don't get me wrong, I like the Skirted Fender as well. In fact I think it's awesome looking and it helps set the Indian Motorcycles apart form the rest. But this was one of those things that happened in the heat of the moment for me. I looked at the Elite online and knew I just had to have it. The next day (my birthday) I rushed over to the dealer and was allowed to peak into the crate because I told the owner I was serious about purchasing it. The rest is history, I didn't even think twice about the fender at that point. Everywhere I go people of all ages, sex, gender are rolling their windows down and telling me how much they love the Elite. And if I'm stopped at a bar and grill etc. I see a lot of people give it a very slow walk around. It's just cool to know other folks appreciate the wow factor as much as I did/do. On a side note my wife and I took a boulevard cruise through San Antonio on Sunday. We usually make it a point to ride through one of the popular parks that is always flooded with HD's and customized cars, trucks, all make motorcycles, etc. One guy had a tricked out customized HD and guess what kind of front fender he had on the front wheel? Indian Skirted Fender!
Dude, your ride is hella sweet. Ride it until all of the cows are eaten and nothing's left to come home.
Nice one! Happy belated and congrats on the new ride.
I have added you to the registry. You are #2. Now we wait for the next owner.
Thanks NickJ. Good to be added.
Picked mine up a few weeks ago. Just took in for 500 mile service and did Stage 2 upgrade w/ Freedom exhaust, 1.5" rear lowering kit, rear highway bars, pinnacle mirrors, heel shifter and several other small mods.
That's SICK dude, and by that I mean bad ass.
Congrats. I just installed a pinnacle heel shifter
and chrome oil cooler cover yesterday. They both
make a huge difference. Saving up for stage 2
and exhaust upgrade.
Nice! Congrats @Sambo. I have added you to the list.
Thanks @Arod069 ... It's an awesome bike to look at and even more fun to ride!
Purchased mine on day 1..... 1,000 miles so far.....awesome bike and definitely a show stopper. VIN: 0019
