Sorry Baldhead,.....I have to disagree,......I have never spent my money wisely,....why a smiley face?,....more like Alpal
Well, I won't expand on much of the wisdom already shared. I've quietly been one of the ones who put a deposit on an FTR-RR, and endured the delay in arrival, but was done in by the price increase and the nosebleed high seat (and I used to ride a BMW GS). I won't beat that dead horse. But, while I'm in "NFW I'm spending large money" mode, a hefty price drop will at least get me to darken the door again. And along with muz, I want a midsize: 12-1300cc, 650#-ish, fairing, bags. Stay safe, friends!
if i may ask, where are you located? i have made multiple offers between $14.5-$15 OTD on a RR, and places won’t even call me back!
awesome! thanks for the quick reply. i’ve been dreaming of a RR, but it was originally priced out of reach... i was originally planning on buying this winter, but after seeing how many are leftover i’ve been trying to get a deal. i’ll reach out to them tomorrow. anyone else know any dealers around ohio that are motivated to sell? looking for <$13.4k OTD out of state sale (ie no tax)
I was really surprised the FTR didn't sell better than it did it was where Indian shined best kicking ass on the Flat Track .. I will add that many Dealers and not just Indian, kick in more fees above and beyond the quoted price on the Floor they raped me without a Kiss on my 1st run Scout but if buy another will never happen again.. They tried on my 2017 CDH but made it plain there were 2 other dealerships close enough for me to go being retired and finally cut their fees in half .. Still paid a bit more than the next closest dealer but where I bought had far better wrenches if needed service, but still knocked the OTD price $1,200 from what they wanted to start with ..
